This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to E-commerce Products (physical gold jewelry, silver jewelry, diamond jewelry, coins, and other precious metal products) purchased through the Precious Goldsmith App (“App”).

This policy covers the shipping and delivery of:
- Gold jewelry (rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, bangles, chains, pendants, etc.)
- Silver jewelry and items
- Diamond jewelry
- Gold coins and bars (direct purchase)
- Silver coins and bars
- Precious stone jewelry
- Other precious metal products
2. Delivery Coverage
2.1 Serviceable Areas
We deliver to all serviceable pin codes across India. You can check if your pin code is serviceable at checkout.
2.2 Non-Serviceable Areas
- International delivery is currently not available.
- Delivery to certain remote, restricted, or high-risk areas may not be available.
- If your pin code is non-serviceable, you will be notified at checkout.

4. Shipping Charges
4.1 Delivery Fee Structure
Shipping charges are calculated based on order value, delivery location (pin code), product weight & dimensions, and delivery speed (standard/express).
4.2 Free Shipping
Free shipping may be offered on orders above a certain value (as displayed on the App). Promotions will be communicated in-app and on our website.
4.3 Express Delivery
Express delivery may be available for select products/locations at additional charges. Typical timeline: 2–4 business days (subject to availability).
5. Order Processing
5.1 Order Confirmation
Upon successful payment, you’ll receive an order confirmation via email and SMS (Order ID, product details, delivery address, estimated delivery date).
5.2 Order Processing Steps
- Payment Verification: 1–2 hours
- Quality Check: Product inspected for quality & authenticity
- Packaging: Secure and tamper-proof packaging
- Dispatch: Handover to logistics partner
- Tracking: Tracking ID sent via email and SMS
5.3 Customized Orders
- Design confirmation required before production
- Production time: 7–15 business days
- Regular updates via email/SMS
- No cancellation after production starts

- Protective padding (bubble wrap/cushioning)

6.2 Gift Packaging
Available for select products at additional charges. Gift messages can be included at checkout.
7. Logistics Partners
We partner with trusted and secure logistics providers, including BVC Logistics, Criticalog, Sequel, and other authorized & insured couriers. All shipments are fully insured during transit.
8. Tracking Your Order
8.1 Tracking Methods
- In-App real-time order status
- Email notifications at each stage
- SMS delivery alerts
- Use the Tracking ID on the courier’s website for details
8.2 Order Status Stages
Order Confirmed → Processing → Dispatched → In Transit → Out for Delivery → Delivered
9. Delivery Process
9.1 Delivery Verification (Mandatory)
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID: Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Driver’s License, Voter ID (name must match the order)
- OTP: Sent to your registered mobile at delivery — must be provided to the agent
- Signature: Digital signature captured as proof of delivery
9.2 Authorized Representative
If you cannot receive personally, you may authorize another person who must present their own ID, a signed authorization letter from you, your ID photocopy, and the OTP sent to your number.
9.3 Inspection Before Acceptance
- Check tamper-evident seals and package condition
- If damaged/tampered: refuse delivery, take photos/videos, and contact Customer Support
9.4 Product Verification Upon Delivery
- Open and verify contents immediately
- Match product with your order (design, weight, quantity)
- Inspect quality and included certificates/invoice
- Report discrepancies within 48 hours with photo/video evidence

10. Failed Delivery Attempts
10.1 Attempts
Up to 3 delivery attempts: Day 1 (scheduled), Day 2 (next business day), Day 3 (within 2 business days).
10.2 Common Reasons
- Recipient unavailable / premises inaccessible
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Unable to provide valid ID/OTP
- Recipient refused delivery
10.3 After 3 Failed Attempts
- Package returns to our warehouse; you’ll be notified
- We can re-arrange delivery or process a refund
- Re-delivery charges: 1st re-delivery free; subsequent ₹100 per attempt (or as applicable)
- Refunds: Original shipping non-refundable; return shipping deducted
10.4 Your Responsibility
- Ensure someone is available during delivery hours
- Provide accurate, complete address and reachable phone
- Keep your phone handy for OTP/delivery calls
- Inform us in advance if you’ll be unavailable
11. Delivery Address
11.1 Address Verification
Include house/flat number, building, street, landmark, city, state, pin code, and a working mobile number.
11.2 Address Change
Possible before dispatch by contacting support; may not be possible after dispatch and could incur charges.
11.3 Undeliverable Addresses
- P.O. Boxes
- Military/restricted areas (without authorization)
- Addresses with insufficient/incorrect details
12. Insurance and Liability
12.1 Coverage
All shipments are fully insured from dispatch until delivery (loss, theft, or transit damage). No extra cost.
12.2 In Case of Loss or Damage
- Contact support immediately with Order ID and tracking details
- We file an insurance claim (typical processing 7–14 business days)
- You may choose a full refund or replacement
12.3 Risk Transfer
During Transit: We bear all risks. After Delivery: Risk transfers to you upon confirmed acceptance.
13. Force Majeure
Delays due to events beyond our control (natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, pandemics, unrest, technical failures). We’ll keep you informed and work to minimize delays. You may cancel for a full refund if not yet dispatched.
